Cyanotypes - Sunlight Photography
Cyanotype printing is an alternative (antique) photographic process using non-toxic, light sensitive chemicals. Placing objects or images of various transparencies on top of the coated paper creates a lasting image.
In this workshop, you will be able to design an image using objects found in nature, collected, or readily available. Depending on how opaque or transparent the object is, it may leave a faint outline or a bold silhouette. Negatives of images can also be used. All materials will be supplied, but if you have anything you want to use feel free to bring it!
